Introduction
Hi, I am Osman, a computing science student and a Software Developer with a passion for artificial intelligence and machine learning, currently studying HND Computing: Software Development and aiming to continue an undergraduate degree on Artificial Intelligence.
Passion for AI and Computer Science
Ever since I have started a career in computer science I have always been fascinated by the capabilities of Artificial Intelligence on fields like finance and healthcare, I have always been curious how it is built and how it functions, all these reasons made me want to be part of this industry to make positive impacts in people’s lives.
Educational Background and Skills
Having finished HNC Computing and working on completing HND Computing, I have a strong foundation on programming, data management, and systems analysis. These programs have offered me with the skills and foundation needed to continue a degree on Artificial Intelligence.
Projects and Achievements
During my education, I have developed several personal projects including GruvNote which is a minimal notes app with simple CRUD functionalities, and Libraro the biggest project I have worked on, a library app that integrates Firebase real-time databases, and Firebase authentication functionalities, it offers the users capabilities of reading public domain books, adding favourite books to collections, viewing analytics related to the read books, and uploading PDFs to read. Working on these projects has increased my knowledge on Android development, database management, Firebase authentication, version control using GitHub, user experience design, and advance programming techniques.
PERSONAL QUALITIES AND INTERESTS
Other than my formal education I have started learning many skills that may help me on my university course, I am currently in the process of finishing the Amazon Cloud Practitioner Course, I am sure this will be very useful on the Artificial Intelligence world.
When it comes to hobbies and personal interests, I really love working on this website, I love designing it, adding my personal touches and making it as appealing as possible, I am aware it is not much designing a website using WordPress, but the process of hosting a compute instance from Google Cloud, installing Hestia CP on the instance, connecting the domain name to the instance’s IP address, and installing WordPress was the most enjoyable experience I have had, this website isn’t only where I display my personal projects and achievements it is also a part of my passion and love for the computing industry.
